On Saturday 19th March 2016 there will be a major training event to be held in Burrington Combe on Mendip. This will be an all day event and will be held in conjunction with several of our neighbouring cave rescue teams, including Gloucestershire Cave Rescue Group and South East Cave Rescue Organisation. Scenarios to be covered during the day will include several search and rescue situations underground and several comms workshops, including the use of the new cave link communication system to send messages between the various teams.
In the evening there will be the MCR General Meeting to be held in the Hunters Lodge Inn, Priddy followed by a firkin of beer generously donated by the Priddy Folk Festival to say thank you for providing first aid cover at previous years festivals. All are welcome to come along to any of the rescue workshops, the meeting or just to drink the beer and socialise with the team.
